Tak dlouhá, abyste srozumitelně vysvětlili, co a proč potřebujete. Nicméně nad dvě (2) strany A4 bude pozornost členů komise při čtení klesat.
Grantová pravidla jsou záměrně napsaná tak, aby byla co nejjednodušší a pokud možno formalitami moc nezatěžovala. Nebojte se a žádost podejte. Pokud bude váš projekt dobrý, můžeme vám pomoci detaily doladit. Grantová pravidla si ale řádně přečtěte a napište do žádosti vše, na co se ptáme: ušetříme si tak čas.
Závisí na okolnostech. Pokud například chcete psát sérii popularizačních článků do vysokonákladového časopisu, mohlo by být vhodné již mít s psaním takových textů zkušenosti. Ale jak bylo řečeno v úvodu a jak také napovídá kapitola Nezávazné příklady projektů, uvítáme i riskantní a inovativní počiny.
Jak bylo řečeno v kapitole Přihlášky a Hodnocení projektů, jedním z bonusových kritérií udělení grantu je mezifakultní spolupráce na daném projektu, proto jsou mezioborové a interdisciplinární projekty vítány. Tuto stránku projektu a jak jí chcete konkrétně pojmout, proto v žádosti vždy specifikujte.
Univerzita Karlova by v projektu měla vždy vystupovat jako hlavní organizátor. Spolupráce s jinými institucemi či organizacemi na projektu je možná, ale s tím, že budou označeny pouze jako partnerské či spolupořadatelské subjekty projektu. Vysvětlete v žádosti, proč bude akce oboustranně výhodná a upřesněte, jaký bude vklad druhé instituce.
Navrhněte sami. V některých případech může být vhodné, abyste sepsali závěrečnou zprávu. Předpokládejte ale, že členové komise se zúčastňují propagačních akcí UK, takže pokud by se váš projekt odehrával v kontextu nějaké z těchto akcí, pravděpodobně by se mohla komise o jeho realizaci přesvědčit přímo na místě.
Napište e-mail na . Odpověď by měla přijít do 48 hodin (tzn., že pokud pošlete e-mail dva dny před uzávěrkou, je to pozdě).

As long as it has to be for you to clearly explain what you need and why. However, if applications are more than two (2) A4 pages in length, the attention of the members of the committee will decline while reading them.
The rules for grants are intentionally written in such a way that they are as uncomplicated as possible and do not burden applicants with formal requirements. Don’t be afraid to submit an application. If your project is good, we can help you fine-tune the details (cf. point E.6). However, read the grant rules carefully and give all the information we ask for in the application; it’ll save everyone’s time.
This depends on the circumstances. For example, if you want to write a series of popularization articles for a high-circulation magazine, it might be appropriate to already have experience writing such texts. However, as stated in the introduction and as also indicated in the “Non-binding project examples” chapter, we also welcome risky and innovative actions.
As stated in the Applications and Evaluation of Projects chapters, one of the bonus criteria for awarding a grant is inter-faculty cooperation on a given project, so interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary projects are therefore welcomed. This is why you should always give precise information on this aspect of the project and your concept of it.
Charles University should be main organizer of the project in all cases. Cooperation with other institutions or organizations on the project is possible, but they must be designated as partners or co-organizing entities only. Explain in the application why the project will be mutually beneficial and specify what the contribution of the other institution will be.
Here, you can suggest something yourself. In some cases, it may be appropriate for you to write a final report. You should assume, however, that members of the committee participate in promotional events for Charles University, so if your project takes place in the context of any of these events, the committee would probably be able to witness its realization directly.
